Tumble Bear Program

Our Tumble Bear Program starts at 3 years old and up. It's for every child who wants to have fun and is very popular among our young gymnasts! We will teach your child the basics of gymnastics, such as a backbend, handstand, cartwheel, and the beginning steps of a back handspring, and much more. Your child will also learn skills on the mini bar and mini beam that is age and size appropriate for your little ones!

Infinity Gymnastics strives to provide every child that comes to our gym a safe, happy and fun experience. It is our goal to ensure that every child fulfills his/her own potential no matter what level of achievement. With the training our instructors provide, we aim to build high levels of self-esteem in your children. We work hard to give your child a solid basis in exercise, agility and discipline that will apply to any sport, activity and educational experience for a lifetime.

Every Tumble Bear is a Winner!

Positive encouragement for children is critical in building confidence and turning them into successful adults. Giving them recognition for the results of their hard work helps to build a child's confidence and boosts their desire for personal achievement. Throughout their participation, students will receive ribbons and certificates to honor their accomplishments. At different times during the program, kids will be made aware of their achievements and taught to visualize and achieve new goals. As students progress, their confidence is strengthened and they begin to understand that their efforts bring achievements in all parts of life.

Activities and Skills

  • Professionally trained and safety certified instructors lead small groups in warm-ups, calisthenics, stretching and safety instruction.
  • Equipment used for skill development are safe and specifically designed and intended for tumbling.
  • Emphasis is placed on hand/eye coordination and rhythm coordination.
  • Awareness is placed on students to cooperate with their fellow students while in small groups.
  • Our philosophy is taught to each child that it is important to be active and take care of their bodies. Our goal is to make every child discover how he or she can enjoy being active by exploring a variety of activities in a fun environment.

Our Tumble Bears program was designed for the toddlers and pre-schoolers. Tumble Bears is focused specifically on children that are in their early developmental stages. The benefits of introducing children at a very young age to the world of pre-gymnastics are:

  • their motor skills improve
  • flexibility quickly progresses
  • hand-eye coordination increases
  • balance and attention develops

Children who join Tumble Bears are part of the same nation wide fitness movements that you may have heard of before. They come in different names, such as "Kids in Motion," "Fit Kids," "Get Moving," and the Tumble Bears program is all part of the same effort to teach very young children to be active. These programs focus on fun physical activities and proper nutrition. By teaching proper nutrition to children, good eating habits are reinforced early in life and are carried over into lifelong patterns. Good eating habits contribute to their overall well-being and the prevention of obesity.

Did you know?..

  • Young people today are probably the first generation where life expectancy will drop. Many behaviors are created during childhood that follow them into adulthood. Only a small percentage of boys and girls are performing the required amount of exercise per day.
  • Obesity prevalence among children and adolescents is too high. For children and adolescents aged 2-19 years: The prevalence of obesity was 18.5% and affected about 13.7 million children and adolescents. (https://www.cdc.gov/obesity/data/childhood.html)
  • Overweight children are at high risk of becoming overweight adolescents and adults, placing them at risk of developing chronic diseases such as heart disease and diabetes later in life. They are also more prone to develop stress, sadness, and low self-esteem. (https://www.webmd.com/children/guide/obesity-children#1)

Exercise = Fun!

With our Tumble Bar themed lessons, students learn that exercise equals fun. Even if your child is not naturally coordinated, flexible or strong, he or she is still likely to benefit from Tumble Bears activities. We make it fun for them so that they don't realize they're exercising. All classes are taught in a non-stressful environment that will not expose your child to the pressures of competition. Our goal is for your child to have fun first, then higher levels of gymnastics second. Basically, we just want them to leave class feeling good about their accomplishments with a smile on their face.
